Still Have Questions?
Do I need to wear eye protection?
Flikeze device has undergone eye safety standard testing and can be safely used without eye protection. The precautions you should take with our lights are the same as those you would take with any other very strong light: do not look directly at them while in use. However, if you are sensitive to strong light, we do offer an optional pair of eye protectors for you to use.
Will red light therapy tan my skin?
No, our device does not emit long-wave or medium-wave ultraviolet rays (which can burn your skin). You will not get tanned.
Can I undergo treatment during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Due to the limited clinical research on red light therapy during pregnancy or breastfeeding, please do not use the device if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting your healthcare provider first.
Can light penetrate clothing?
Near-infrared light can penetrate clothing to some extent, but red light cannot effectively penetrate clothing. Therefore, we generally recommend exposing clean, bare skin to the light whenever the environment permits.
Does it hurt to use?
The device is 100% painless.
What is the difference between blue light therapy and red light therapy?
Blue light is effective at killing the bacteria Propionibacterium acnes and has beneficial effects on acne by inhibiting sebum production. Red light can reduce inflammatory responses and promote the recovery of the damaged epidermal barrier.
